Ghost Recon 2
On December 8th, 2004, Stuff Magazine and Ubisoft partnered to launch Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon 2 video game. The event, which took place at the House of Blues in Los Angeles, utilized the game's multiplayer online capabilities to emphasize the strong military consumer base and to entertain the partygoers. This event was hosted by Alyssa Milano, and featured a live feed and plasma screens that connected players at the event in Los Angeles to the base in North Carolina. This enabled players to interact and play Ghost Recon 2 against their military counterparts at Fort Le Jeune. At the end of the fun-filled evening, Ubisoft presented $15,000 to the Armed Forces Foundation, the charitable organization benefiting the Armed Forces community. The Ghost Recon 2 inspired event brought celebrities, including the likes of Rick Fox, Pauly Shore, Bonnie Somerville, and Dave Meyers to party Stuff Style with Stuff Magazine and Ubisoft! The guests partied with the troops to celebrate the release of the hot new video game at the ultimate holiday bash.
